Shopify Catalog Sync
Connect your Shopify store so the AI answers product questions, sends photos and buy links from your live catalog.
Now on the Shopify App Store. Install Waslo from the Shopify App Store, or connect your store from the Waslo dashboard in one click — no tokens to create.
What it does
Connect your Shopify store once and your AI agent starts selling from it — on WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram and every other connected channel:
- Products, prices and photos sync automatically. Your Waslo catalog mirrors the store: what's live in Shopify is what the AI offers.
- The AI answers product questions ("do you have this in stock?", "how much is…?") from your real catalog — it quotes only the products and prices you sell, and says it will check when something isn't there.
- Photos and buy links. When a customer shows interest, the AI can send the product photo with the price and a direct link to the product page in your store.
- Always fresh. The catalog re-syncs when you connect, whenever you press Sync now, and automatically once a day.
While the sync is active, your Waslo catalog is a read-only mirror — manage products, prices and photos in Shopify, and the changes flow down on the next sync. Disconnecting removes the mirrored products from Waslo (your store is never touched) and returns you to the manual catalog.
Who can use it
- Installed from the Shopify App Store — billed through Shopify: the Growth plan at $149/month with a 7-day free trial, approved and paid in your Shopify admin. Connecting the store costs nothing.
- Growth (direct Waslo customers) — included, like the rest of the catalog suite.
- Pay-as-you-go (direct Waslo customers) — a one-time unlock of 2,000 credits. The unlock covers external store sync as a capability, so future store platforms are included too. The manual catalog editor itself remains a Growth feature.
Option A — Install from the Shopify App Store
- Open Waslo on the Shopify App Store and press Install.
- Approve the access Shopify asks for — read-only access to your products, nothing else.
- Create your Waslo account (or sign in) and follow the steps on screen to link the store. Your products sync in.
- Start the Growth plan from the Waslo app inside your Shopify admin: 7 days free, then $149/month, billed by Shopify.
Option B — Already using Waslo? Connect from the dashboard
- Open Dashboard → Integrations and pick the Shopify Catalog Sync card (unlock it first on Pay-as-you-go).
- Enter your store domain — the
something.myshopify.comform always works. - Press Connect store. Shopify asks you to approve read-only access to your products.
- Approve — Waslo pulls your products and shows the count on the card. Your billing stays with Waslo.
Stores that still hold a custom-app token created before 1 January 2026 (it starts with
shpat_) can paste it in the card's manual option instead. Waslo stores it encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and never displays it again.
Day-to-day
- Sync now on the integration card pulls the latest changes immediately (new products, price edits, deletions).
- The automatic daily sync keeps things fresh without you thinking about it.
- The Catalog page shows the synced products read-only, with a banner linking back to the sync settings.
- The catalog holds up to 500 products; larger stores sync the first 500.
Troubleshooting
- "Shopify rejected the access token" — the connection was revoked (for example, the app was uninstalled). Press Connect store again and approve the access.
- "Store not found" — check the domain spelling; try the
something.myshopify.comform. - A product isn't appearing — only Active products sync; drafts and archived products are skipped. Check the product's status in Shopify, then press Sync now.
- Prices look wrong for multi-variant products — a product whose variants have different prices shows as "From
{lowest}"; the buy link takes the customer to the store page where they pick the variant.
ikas stores (Turkey)
ikas connects with a single click — nothing to paste:
- In Waslo open Integrations → ikas Catalog Sync and type your store name (the
my-storepart ofmy-store.myikas.com). - Press Connect store. ikas asks you to approve read access to your products.
- Approve — names, prices with currency, stock, SKUs, categories, product photos and buy links all sync in.
Buy links need your ikas storefront to be published. Until it is, ikas points the product address at its own marketing page, so Waslo shares names, prices and photos without a link rather than send your customer somewhere useless.
Prefer not to use the one-click flow? The card also accepts a merchant-created private app: open Apps → My Apps → Create Private App in ikas, grant the read scopes, and paste the credentials as client_id:client_secret.
Zid (Saudi Arabia)
Zid connects with a single click — no tokens to paste: press Connect store on the Zid card and approve the app in your store's own login. Products, prices, photos and buy links sync automatically, exactly like Shopify.
If the card shows "being activated", Zid's partner approval for Waslo's app is still in progress. Public App Market apps do not require the merchant to buy Zid's private API-access add-on. See Zid Catalog Sync for both install directions and billing.
Salla works the other way round — you install Waslo from the Salla App Store and set it up inside your store's own dashboard, with no account to create first. See Salla Catalog Sync.
Other platforms
The sync engine is platform-agnostic by design. On a platform you'd like connected? Tell us at hello@waslo.io — real requests move platforms up the list. One unlock covers them all: if you've already unlocked catalog sync, every future platform costs nothing extra.
